When you think about the future, how do you imagine your life? Is the future something you look forward to, or something you would rather not think about? Do you think you can influence how things will turn out?

You may not be able to predict the future, but good planning can help you to have the sort of life you would like. A good plan will be based on knowing where you would like to go and how to get there.

This is an excellent time to consider your preferences and what you have to offer. You will need to collect accurate information about the opportunities available if you want to make sound choices.

The "Plan" pages deal with issues that you are likely to face from Year 9 onwards. They should help you to make sure that your future is something to look forward to.
